I strive to be reasonable for the average household to have a basset hound as part of their family.

At The Basset Hound Den, we have two (2) options for you so you can choose what fits your family, needs and budget.

​ALL Puppies are AKC Registered at birth.

1st  is AKC LIMITED ( papers but no breeding rights) "Pet Option"

This option fits most families that want a full blooded basset hound as a PET and you can also finish the registration in their name to have the AKC Papers to have proof of lineage. Along with optional registration packages that include an AKC collar tag with 24/7 lifetime recovery services, a three-generation AKC pedigree, a one-year subscription to AKC Family Dog magazine, and a dog care and training video.

All Pets are Vet checked my vet with proof.

Up to date vaccination done

Also a Puppy Package that has 1 Days worth of food and other items to get you started.

2rd is Full AKC rights ( papers and breeding rights)

This option fits families that not only want a full blooded basset hound but also want the option to breed in the future and wish to finish the registration in their name to have the AKC Papers to have proof of lineage. Along with optional registration packages that include an AKC collar tag with 24/7 lifetime recovery services, a three-generation AKC pedigree, a one-year subscription to AKC Family Dog magazine, and a dog care and training video.

****We ask for $200 holding fee (non-refundable) to hold your puppy, it helps to cover the vaccinations, deworming, vet visit, food, and other expenses for the litter. Remaining balance due at pick up in "CASH".
